Both brains and push-up bras

My friend Robin Mejia just published an essay on learning to shimmy. It’s a really fun read — I love lines like “a woman can possess both brains and push-up bras” — and gets one to musing about the brain. I’m not sure I buy the reductionist idea that we are our brains, but we definitely have to wrestle with our self-conceptions.
