A look into The Wronged Man.
Nieman Storyboard graciously allowed me to write about why I like Andrew Corsello’s “The Wronged Man.” I read this story years ago, and it shook me. I continue to think about that story and the mockery of justice it exposed.
Here’s what I wrote. Here’s my interview with Corsello about writing the piece.
Maybe some day I’ll write something half as good, and meaningful.
Hey Michael… Just wanted to drop a note to tell you how much I enjoyed your article about Andrew Corsello’s “The Wronged Man” and the follow up with Corsello. This is a great story. We were fortunate to be a part of the Lifetime movie “The Wronged Man” that aired a few years ago. My son played “Prissy’s” son in the movie. Prissy was played by Julia Ormond. (see link in website box above). I am sure you already knew about the movie. If you ever have a chance to check it out I think you will enjoy it. Keep up the good work. Jim
Thanks, Jim. Thanks for the tip on the movie, too. I think Andrew mentioned it when I talked with him but I hadn’t sought it out.
Michael
